Commission Agreement

This Commission Agreement outlines the terms for custom artwork created by Bruce A. Dumas.

1. Project Scope

The client and artist will agree on:

•            Subject matter

•            Size

•            Medium

•            Timeline

•            Price

A written confirmation (email is acceptable) will serve as the official agreement.

2. Deposit

A 50% non‑refundable deposit is required to begin the commission.

The remaining balance is due upon completion, before delivery.

3. Revisions

•            One round of minor revisions is included

•            Additional revisions may incur extra fees

•            Major changes after work has begun may require renegotiation

4. Timeline

Estimated timelines will be provided before the project begins.

Delays may occur due to materials, drying time, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Artistic Style

The client acknowledges that the commission will reflect the established style of Bruce A. Dumas.

Artistic interpretation is part of the creative process.

6. Delivery & Shipping

Shipping costs will be included in the final invoice unless otherwise agreed.

7. Copyright

The artist retains all copyright and reproduction rights.

The client receives the physical artwork only.

8. Cancellations

If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit is forfeited.
